Welcome to the home page for WACV 2016, the IEEE’s and the PAMI-TC’s premier meeting on applications of computer vision. WACV is an IEEE conference covering all areas of computer vision. It will be held March 7-9, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza resort in Lake Placid, NY, USA. There will be workshops on the day following the conference (March 10), and tutorials in the mornings of conference days before the main sessions. As with previous WACV’s, the main conference sessions will start in the mid-afternoon and run through the evening, to allow time during the day to enjoy the many local attractions.
We would like to thank all the attendees for making this conference a success. 273 individuals registered for the conference, and the number of papers for each round are as follows:
- Round 1:
- 33 accepted from 110 submitted — Algorithms track
- 37 accepted from 92 submitted — Applications track
- Round 2:
- 53 accepted from 115 submitted — Algorithms track
- 67 accepted from 125 submitted — Applications track

The conference app is on the Google Play (Android) and Apple iTunes (iPhone) stores. You can search for WACV. The app is called the CVF conference app. it will be used for many different vision conferences, e.g. it is also used for CVPR, and just updates with new content for each conference.
